Feeling artsy, don't we?

Assalammu'alaikum. wr.wb..

Hi!
I'm very thankful that I live in an artsy environment.
Mama loves knitting and sewing, and just like me, she like to makes her own clothes!
She also loves to read as much as I am. We both can spend a whole day at bookstore, just browsing and looking for the new book. Though my genre are still a bit confusing for her to read, she loves Islamic book.
Bang Ayik have magic finger.
He even draw a whole world map by his own when he was at junior high school and his drawing is cool.
Too bad he never draw anymore, I don't know why.
Papa.. well, he is a gift in music.
He said that when he was in junior high school, he and his brother has their own band! h. such a waste, e never teach us how to play guitar or drum.
Me? I like doodling... and babbling. :p
Naah... I have a lot of friends who love music, art, and literature as much as I am.
So whenever one of us blog walking and find some artsy websites or products, we'll always send the link to others, by twitter or facebook message.

It's a matter of courage..

It's been a long time since my last post. 

Well.. as usual, i would like to give you a list of why i seems can't push my self to post something, 

but it will be boring and i wouldn't want you to stop reading my blog.

SO.. just leave it to myself, okay? :)

I've been reading Aleph.

Written by no other than my favourite writer, Paulo Coelho. 

There are a lot of words which I found very inspiring.. 

one of them is: 

"Travel is never a matter of money but of courage"

Most of the time, we are afraid and having a lot of reasons for not to travel.
Money, schedule, place to stay, or afraid if the destination will be disappointing us.
And maybe it's not only for traveling!
We often do that in every things in our life, don't we?
It's possible that we do ask ourselves too much..
or think too much,
and ended up doing nothing or stay at the place.
When actually all we need is a courage.

Sometimes, it's just exactly what you need the most and stop thinking too hard.

Guten Tag!

It's been a while since my last post.
Seems like I always find excuses to procrastinating with this page.
Lot of interesting and inspiring things me, but failed to get their way through this page.
What with my last semester at University and got internship at the end of last year giving me enough reasons to forgot posting.

And now I'm taking a break and deep breath before starting the last journey of University world, getting graduate. 

Being a last semester's collegian will give you a big luggage, trust me.

So I spent my holiday times with made my own dream catcher and scrap book (my projects, it have been a while, like a life time, for me getting my way with this scrap ideas and DIY projects), spent some times with my bestie, went to other city, got my self a new long cardigan, and lot of blog-walking.

I love this concept.
It is a great way to confess what you feels to other people, for a shy people like me (yeah, I am a shy girl and romantic at heart).
Even I am not a fan of Valentine's day, I still like this projects. You can confess the feelings you have to other people by a letter, and they couldn't know whose it come from (unless you giving yourself out, of course),
 so it's like nothing to lose, right?
Unfortunately, you must have someone whom you could confess to for make it works.
It's a sad thing that you have no hidden things to confess from someone when you know there's a way to let them know your feelings!
Such a waste. 
But for other people out here, it's your chance!
Go grab it and confess your feelings! :)  

The last thing, I found this amazing and inspiring blog!
Actually I'm learning to improve my drawing skills and this blog has giving me a big influence to that decision. I particularly fall in love with this picture below.

I don't know where Papa got this album, but I do love it and will always put the records on once I got inside the car.

Been Busy

Just say that I've been busy with my life. Such a mess like mu plate is full of food and I was kind of drifting for a while. 

But I just came to this site and found another site (-that's what you often got while looking for nothing at internet nowadays). 

And like what one of my friends ever said to me -although under very different circumstances, 

"Everything just click, you know." 

That's also exactly the same with what i'm thinking when i saw that picture above.

Birthday Girl

Today is my birthday.

Yaaay for me! :)

Thank you for all the greetings and wishes for me, people. 

I should never ever thanking you all for those mentions, bbms, messages, and others. 

Suddenly I feel getting old, well... I am getting older today. 

A couple days ago, I read such a nice post here and got a great link (here, you must read the post!) for thinking over again what I've been doing for celebrating my birthday. 

It's true. 

When I was a kiddo, getting a bunch of presents and greetings from others at my birthday was all I ever think about. At that time, getting it all was important and when I do not get what I'd expected, I'll get upset all day long! My little mind would think that I've not good enough so people forgot about the day when I got born.

As the years passed by, getting presents and greetings was not that necessary. My birthday become less exciting. 

Today, considering that posts I'd read bout celebrating your born day, the only one you should really celebrating and thanking is your parents and family.

So all the thanking, greetings, and wishes are for: 

Mama 

who giving me birth while risking her life to bring me here. Raised me till what I've become today, and hugged me while I look like need one. 

Papa

who wait for me to come to his arm and always be my hero. Always looking at me like an apple in his eyes. I'll never get wrong in his eyes, even I am 21 y.o. now, I'll be his little daughter, always. 

Bang Ayik 

who willingly share the two most amazing person he'd ever had with me and their love. Always behind the curtains, waiting and taking care of me. 

They are the people whom I should be thanking over and over again for today. :) 

That's why today is not my day. 

Today is their day.

Afraid of getting hurt, sometimes, is the only reason of what we do or not to do.  

People, who success in their life, seems to me, always said that it's take a bravery action to being on top. Get out of the box. See the whole picture. The cliche phrase is get out of your comfort zone. 

and that phrase occurs to all aspect of our life. 

which is include ... our love life (or to me, lack of it.) 

Once, my friend, who always get into the same group with me if there's a project at my class, or let's say one of my good friend, said to me: the only thing that hold me back from getting to know someone is this silly little thing that I  truly keeps in my head. 

said I hold off my feeling or hearts because I am afraid of getting hurt by someone. 

or in rather rough words, I am a coward. 

Well, maybe I am. 

No, I am not saying myself a coward. 

 I just seems have a rather vigorous self protection than other people.

The Package edited by me

I got the package yesterday.

It was the box set of The Hunger Games written by Suzanne Collins. 

Actually, I had set my eyes onto this book, looooong before the idea to make it into a movie not just a rumor. But keeping the things off for awhile 'till the box set comes up! 

And I got 15% discount, horraaaay for me! :D 

Well, the books still in it place, wrapped with the plastic, because I should finish my Lolita (yeah, written by Vladimir Nabokov) first this week before try to get my hands of its. *sigh* 

Seems like I just suddenly forgot that I still having to review my tasks yet! *loud sigh*
